Get to Know Me

I have always known from an early age that I thrive in environments where I can help others. I am naturally drawn to people and their life stories. I love walking alongside people and giving them the confidence and skills needed to navigate their lives. I believe all people need a village, this can be made up of family, friends or even professionals who help encourage, support and walk together to create the life they want. 

I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Child and Adolescent Psychology and a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling. I have worked in multiple settings including inpatient units, outpatient, developing and implementing a PHP for a local school district and in an Emergency Room as a crisis assessor. I have been trained to implement Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Nurturing Parenting Program (NPP). I believe in staying up to date and current in treatment modalities and focusing on the increasing needs of the communities I serve. I am currently training to become a certified therapist in Attention Deficit-Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). 

I am in good standing as a Licensed Professional Clincial Counselor with the state of Kentucky.
